Jessailah set the standard and raised the bar for girls wrestling at South. A 3x State Finalist and 2x State Champion, she closed out her final three seasons with an astonishing 80-1 record!
Not only is she the winningest female wrestler in South history, but her leadership and dedication helped transform our girls program into the largest and most successful team in 2024.

Manny didn’t start wrestling until his Sophomore year, but still managed to make a great impact on our program. He is a quiet leader, often times just leading by example, or mentoring the underclassmen. He is kind, humble, and selfless; he routinely gives up his time to help his teammates on and off the mat, or coach the younger generation of wrestlers. He successfully completed boot camp before his senior year, and is heading to AIT this summer before college. Excited to see this young man continue to thrive and be a shining example of what hard work can do for you! Congrats, Manny!
